GLORIA JOSEPHINE PATTEN (Age 93)

On Monday, November 23, 2015, surrounded by her family at Suburban Hospital. She is met in heaven by her beloved husband, Dr. Ralph F. Patten, Sr.; her son, Ralph F. Patten, Jr. and her great- granddaughter, Maureen Erin McFalls. Mother of Christine Becker, William Patten, Michael Patten and Mary Herrmann; mother-in-law of Vincent Becker, Elizabeth Patten, Victor Herrmann and Maureen Patten. Also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Gloria was a long time member of Manor Country Club. She enjoyed bridge and golf but most of all she was a devoted mother. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, December 2, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
