Dermot Michael Owens (Age 85)

On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of College Park. MD. Beloved husband for 56 years of Anna Owens; father of Steve Owens (Wendy Sratlow-Owens) and Kerry Owens (Doug Sullivan); brother of James Owens (Betty); and grandfather of Michael Coleman. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m., with Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor, may be made to the Wilmer Eye Institute, Wilmer Development Office, 600 North Wolfe St., Baltimore, MD 21287-9015.
