On Saturday, December 22, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Charles Edward Orton; mother of Karen O. Garrett (Jay), Cheryl O. Smith, Charles A. Orton (Barbara) and Diane O. West (Robert). She had eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Colesville Road (at Highland Dr.), Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. with Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Disabled American Veterans , 1722I St., NW #210, Washington, DC 20421.
