January 13 2019: OLIVERA, Maria A.

Maria A. Olivera  (Age 84)  

Of Kensington, MD, passed away at home on December 29, 2018. Maria is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Humberto R. Olivera; she is survived by her son, Humberto (Stacy) Olivera; her two grandsons, Mason and Brandon Olivera; in addition to many family and friends.  Maria was born in the Chiriqui province of Panama on October 16, 1934. She married on July 14, 1968 at the Sacred Heart Church in Washington, DC. She was a very spirited person who loved helping others and made friends easily. We know she will always be with us in spirit. Memorial Mass will be held for Maria and Humberto on Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Avenue in Kensington, Maryland.
