Formerly of Amarillo, TX, went to his Heavenly home after losing his fight to pancreatic cancer on January 31, 2013, in Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Jackie Nussbaum; father of Justin and Jordan Nussbaum; proud grandfather of Shaina Elizabeth Nussbaum. Son of the late Walter and Mary Nussbaum. Survived by his brother Jim Nussbaum, sister-in-law Reta Nussbaum, sister Mary Jo Nussbaum and aunt Katherine Nussbaum Aubin. Extended family includes the late Deborah Wurster, Ed Wurster, Jayson and Jared Wurster, Everett Holley, Natasha Lawrence, Xavier Lawrence and Netsanet Zewdu. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, February 8, 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at The Church at Severn Run, 8187 Telegraph Road, Severn, MD 21144 on Saturday February 9, at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
