Beloved husband of the late Mirta Nieves; father of Olga (Lowell) Fisher of Dallas, TX, Iris (Joe) Nieves Campbell of Laurel, MD, Millie (Gary) Ramey of Burke, VA, Rafael “Ray” (Carolyn) of Huntingtown, MD, Jimmy (Debbie) of Herndon, VA, and Daniel (Judy) of Smithsburg, MD. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, February 20, 2011, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
