On Monday, September 21, 2009 of Edenton, NC, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Earline B. Newman; father of Joan A. Maxwell and William A. Newman of Edenton, NC. Also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service and interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, 9727 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
