John Procter Nalls (age 52)

A loving father and friend, John Procter Nalls passed away at his home in Silver Spring on July 5^th.  John’s focus in life was his family.  In addition to his wife, Amy, John was the loving father of Tucker Hewitt, Natalee Frances and Ellee Johanna.  John is also survived by his mother Ethelee Hewitt Nalls, his brother Michael Adrian Nalls, his grandmother Aurelia Hewitt, and many other loving family members and friends. He always worked hard to put his children before himself, and was truly special to those who knew him.

John was an avid fan of Washington sports teams and enjoyed spending time by the water in Ocean City with his family and many friends.  John earned a Bachelors Degree from University of Tampa. He will be remembered for his compassion, his strength, his golden heart, and his playful spirit.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Thursday, July 12^th  at 1:30 pm at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853. Following the Memorial Service, there will be a reception at the Oak Room of the Sandy Spring Fire House in Sandy Spring at 17921 Brooke Road.
