DOROTHY  MURPHY

On Monday, May 11, 2009, Dorothy Agnes Murphy, O.P., 71, of Silver Spring, MD.  Sister of Tom Gallagher and Mary Thompson.  Beloved friend of Carol Smith.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was formerly Provincial Moderator of the Fraternities of St. Dominic, Province of St. Joseph.  Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Arcola Ave. and Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Dominican House of Studies Building Fund, 487 Michigan Avenue, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20017.
