On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Born on August 30, 1931, in Westerly, RI. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Virginia Macri Morrone, and his children, Noelle Ronald Heyman of Kensington, MD, Frank Morrone, III, of Walpole, MA, Patrick Morrone of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jennifer Joseph of Chevy Chase, MD. He was grandfather of seven, Kirsten Ronald, Jocelyn Gross, Regina Tilton, Paige and Dana Morrone, and Taylor and Tess Joseph: great-grandfather of seven. Frank is also survived by his brother, Richard Morrone, and many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private ceremony and interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support the Radiation Oncology Research Innovation Fund at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
