SYLVIA ELISABETH MILLER (Age 67)
On Sunday, February 6, 2011, at her home in Silver Spring, MD. She had a central nervous system condition. Wife of John M. Miller; mother of Katja Miller; daughter of Marianna MacLean. Mrs. Miller was a technical proof reader and edited numerous scientific and medical journals and text books. She was born in Schweina, Germany and studied at Bonn and Heidelberg Universities. She completed her BS at Pennsylvania State University. While studying in Heidelberg, she met her husband John then an USAF Officer. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice Society, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
