On Sunday, January 10, 2016, of Derwood, MD, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin E. Miller; mother of Gary (Kathy) Miller, Kevin Miller (Aniki), and the late Sharon Miller; grandmother of Carolyn (Kent) Gabriel, Michael (Laura) Miller, and Kristin Miller; sister of Ursula Walters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and the matriarch of the Knouse family of Snyder County, PA. She was an avid herbalist and gardener known for her wreaths and snowdrops. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 14, at 11 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Memorial Park.
