On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD, originally of Turkey Thicket, DC.  Beloved husband of Rita Lawrence McLaughlin; brother of John J. McLaughlin, Jr., Patricia DeFino, Mary Yourishin and Catherine Wittenberger; also survived by  27 nieces and nephews, along with numerous extended family and friends.  Relatives and friends may call at  Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette’s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, May 27, 10:30 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
