On September 24, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Esther M. McFiren; father of Evelyn I. Johnson, Marvin P. McFiren and the late Thomas J. McFiren, Jr. Also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901 on Tuesday, September 29, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Followed by a graveside service and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, 20906 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
