TERRENCE GEORGE McCALL

On Friday March 3, 2017 Terrence George McCall, 74 of Rockville, MD passed away at George Washington University Hospital. He is survived by his son Terrence J. McCall (Roberta McCall) 53, of Sykesville, MD, son Patrick McCall (Meredith McCall), 35, of Colonial Beach, VA, and daughter Kimberly McCall, 34 of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by his brother Ronald McCall (Libby McCall) and sister Patricia Martineau (Peter Martineau). Survived by nieces Jennifer Hollern (Dan Hollern) and Katie Martineau. Survived by grandchildren Robert McCall, 25, Emily McCall, 23, Christopher McCall, 21, Kate Wimbrough, 11, and Carter McCall, 3. He is preceded in death by his daughter Heather McCall. Terry lived a rich life full of passions for family, sports, and friends. He was a loving father, coach, and mentor to many people. Terry coached many of his children’s sports teams including baseball, softball, football, and basketball. Terry was very loyal, hard-working, honest, and dedicated in all aspects of life. He cared deeply about his children and the many children he encountered through his passion for coaching sports. He was employed for many years by the Washington Post as a distributor and was an accomplished mechanic. Terry was loved by many and will be missed deeply.  We pray God has given him peace in Heaven. Services will be held at Collins Funeral Home located at 500 University Blvd. W, Silver Spring, MD.  Visitation will be held on Monday March 20^th, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.  Funeral Services will be on Tuesday March 21st, 2017 at 11 am at Collins Funeral Home.  Terry’s final resting place will be with his Mother at Gate of Heaven in Silver Spring, MD.
