On Wednesday, December 24, 2014 of College Park, MD. Beloved wife of Ludvik A. Matyas; mother of Charlotte A. Hale and Patricia B. White; sister of Mildred Peters, Ann Pendleton and Howard Heffernan. Also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mary was a native Washingtonian. She retired from the AFL-CIO in 1978 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity of St. Hugh of Grenoble Parish.
