MATINA MANTHOS (Age 82)

On Sunday, September 8, 2013, of Washington, DC. Wife of the late Michael N. Manthos; beloved mother of Pericles Manthos of Hawaii and Eleni K. Dorian of Bethesda; grandmother of Katerina and Melina Dorian; sister of Angeliki Balkalis and George Antoniou of Driopi, Greece. The family will receive guests for a wake at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th St. & Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC on Friday, September 20 beginning at 10 a.m. where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
