On Friday, April 2, 2010, of Ocean View, DE, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late John E. Malone; mother of Sandra J. Parker (Robert C.), and Teresa A. Malone; sister of Joseph D”Andelet and the late, Donald D”Andelet, and Catherine Jackovich; grandmother of Brian, Kevin, and Michael. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Caren, Keith, Camryn, Emma and baby Shane. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, April 20, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, April 21, at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday April 22, 2010, at 9 a.m. Those attending should meet at the Administration Building at 8:30 a.m. Contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice Casey House, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850 or to the National Emphysema/COPD Association (NECA), 850 Amsterdam Ave., Suite 9A, New York, NY 10125.
