EDWARD JEROME LYONS (Age 72)

Of Silver Spring, MD, and formerly of Gaithersburg, MD, died on Sunday, November 9, 2014. He was the beloved father of Robert E. Lyons and his wife Candy Lyons of Frederick, MD, and David J. Lyons and his wife Jeanine Lyons of Columbia, MD. He was also the grandfather of Skyler, Colin, Aidan, and Noelle Grace Lyons; he was brother of Theresa A. Nelson and the late Marjory J. Lyons Herbert. Mr. Lyons was a graduate of the University of Detroit. For more than 40 years, Mr. Lyons was an Electrical Engineer for the National Security Agency. In his earlier years, he was active in Boy Scouts of America. Relatives and friends may call at Oak Ridge Community Church located at 6120 Day Long Lane, Clarksville, MD on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 4:30 to 5 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Interment private.
