Stuart James Long (Age 75)

On Saturday, July 29, 2017, of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Cherie Long; loving father of Jessica Long (Daniel) Balserak and Jamie (Jennifer Fountain) Long. Proud grandfather of Ella and Caitlin Balserak. Brother of Richard Long, Joseph Long, Tricia Stanley, Nancy Wardinski; the late Kao Long, Michelle Ambrosio and Rosemary Venzke . Also survived by many friends and relatives. Visitation will be held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 900 North Capitol Street, NW (@ Eye Street), Washington, DC, Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Stu Long to Gonzaga College High School, 19 Eye Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001 to The Stuart J. Long Memorial Fund.
