ROSE THERESA LEARY (Age 97)

On Tuesday, February 10, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Born in Mahanoy Plane, PA, she moved to the Washington, DC area in the early 1940’s. Rose, who retired from United Airlines, loved to travel, and was a great reader. She is preceded in death by all ten of her siblings. Beloved aunt of Anne (Bob) Denbow, Mary Pat (Doug) Arkin, Francis (Liz) Lanigan, Margaret (Kevin) Pacious, Elizabeth (Russ) Sanford, Margaret Creveling, Teresa Leary, James (Mary) Whalen, John Deady, Theodore Deady, Francis (Gigi) Deady, Patrick (Diane) Leary, Denise (Danny) Rajnic, Joan (Jeff) Leary, Thomas (Michele) Leary, Ellen (Joe) Votta, Anne Marie Sharpe and the late Kathleen O’Boyle. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD on Saturday, February 14, from 12 to 12:30 p.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 4200 Harewood Road, NE, Washington, DC 20017.
