ROBERT JOHN LAUT

On Tuesday, April 27, 2010, of Silver Spring, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of Frances Becker Laut; father of Nancy M. (Rich) Kroll, Tricia Laut, and Marilyn Foster; grandfather of Lance Corporal Alexander M. Laut, Shannon T. Foster, K.C. Foster and the late Andrea L. Kroll; uncle of Donald H. Laut. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was held as a P.O.W. in various locations in Germany. He retired from Otis Elevator after 42 years of service. The family will receive friends at the Montgomery Station Club House at Riderwood Village, 3120 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, Sunday, May 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Foundation, 406 W. 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
