CARL HENRY LAMB (Age 84)

Of Hagerstown Maryland passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara A. Lamb; Brother of Myrtle Beall, father of Barbara J. Lavely along with boyfriend James Snider of Hagerstown, Maryland, and long-time son-in-law of 23 years, Jeffrey L. Lavely of Falling Waters, West Virginia.

He was the grandfather of 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his mother Alese Lamb Beagle, his father Robert E. Lamb and step-father Walter Beagle, along with four brothers and four sisters, two daughters; Patricia A. Lamb, Kathy S. Lavely and son Carl J. Lamb, as well as Grandson Michael Lavely. Carl is also predeceased by his long-time companion Mary Guice.

He will also be missed by Tammy and Donnie Hobbs and Fred Guice. Carl served in the Korean War for the United States Navy for four years. He enjoyed many sports and hunting activites. Carl also enjoyed all of his family and reading the bible.

Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, April 18, 2019 for a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Funeral Service to follow beginning at 11:00AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
