Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Born on April 2, 1942 in Dayton, OH to the late William and Margerie Allen, Barbara grew up in southwestern Ohio and attended Wilbur Wright High School. Beloved wife of Joseph Kremonas for 40 years; devoted mother of Mike (Anne) Swartz and Leisa (Jamie) Swartz; stepmother of Nick (Star) Kremonas and Chris (Jen) Kremonas; loving grandmother to Benjamin, Daniel, Zachary, Trevor, Lily Claire, Taylor, Holly and Bo. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Marie Tiede, of Saint Inigoes Shores, MD; brother, William Allen Jr. of Dayton, OH; nieces, Susan Ohtake of Larkspur, CA, April Swallow-Miles of St. Inigoes Shores, MD; nephew, William Allen III of Dayton, OH; a host of loving friends and neighbors. In 1962, Barbara opened what would be the first of two dance studios she would own. She taught at her Dayton, OH studio until she and Joe moved the family to Huntsville, AL. There she launched a new studio and continued her love of teaching dance. Barbara loved traveling and she and Joe visited many countries. On behalf of Martin Marietta, they hosted and were guests of many dignitaries around the world. Relatives and friends may call at Francis J.
