On Sunday, March 27, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Emmett Benjamin Kitchen; mother of Kay Kitchen (Raymond) Robinson and Emmett B. (Dr. Kim) Kitchen; grandmother of David (Elisa) Robinson, Bryan (Shannon) Kitchen and Lee (Allison) Kitchen; great-grandmother of Benjamin, Morgan and Zoe Kitchen. Also survived by her brother, Dr. Walter (Connie) Smith; sister-in-law, Ella Kate Hiers and former daughter-in-law, Susan Kitchen. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Thursday, March 31, 10 to 11 a.m. where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Wakefield Cemetery, Wakefield, VA on Friday.
