Howard Joseph Kennedy (Age 92)
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, of Rockville, MD, originally of Providence, RI. Beloved husband of the late Ruth M. Kennedy; father of Howard J. Kennedy, Jr., Judith K. Peel, and Eileen K. Resta; brother of the late Eugene J. Kennedy and Alice K. Coleman. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Founding member of Rockville Elks Lodge #2296 (now Washington Lodge #15). He was active in the St. Jude’s Choir and the Rockville Men’s Chorus. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, January 15, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
