ALICE CATHERINE JORDAN
On Monday, June 27, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edward S. Jordan; loving mother of Edward B., Rita J. (Joe) Thompson, Thomas P. (Linda), and Elaine “Petie” C. (Sam) Hance; sister of the late John F., Jr. and Bernard J. Hughes, Mary Jones and Veronica “Vera” Patterson. Also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m. and at Resurrection at Riderwood Chapel, 3160 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, June 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association .
