Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday afternoon, June 9, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of devoted wife, Colleen Johnson; son of the late Mildred A. and Joseph J. Johnson, Sr.; brother of Alice L.(Keith) Scarbrough, Gail R. Lepovetsky, and Donna M. (Michael) Gironda. He had two nieces, three nephews and four great-nieces. Joe was a good friend and neighbor, always giving a helping hand.
