Passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 of Coconut Creek, Florida. He is survived by Rachael Johnson, his dearly beloved wife of two years. He was a loving son of Paul and Linda Johnson and caring brother to Christopher Johnson. Joseph lived in the greater D.C. area for many years, graduating from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in 1999 and then from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 2003. He relocated to Florida where he had a successful career in Fraud Investigations and Loss Prevention. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile, adventurous spirit, quick wit, playful nature, and kind and generous heart. Family and friends are called to remember and celebrate his life at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday, October 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial Mass celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church Chapel, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD on Monday, October 5, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, 10 Ten Oaks Road, Clarksville, MD.
