Of College Park, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Jarboe; father of Debi Fleming and Donna Brentano; grandfather of Eric, Laurie, Angela, Adam and Sarah. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and his brothers James and Ted Jarboe. Mr. Jarboe had highly distinguished careers with both the Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department as well as the United States Air Force. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901 (Valet Parking) Thursday, June 26 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.; where a Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made to Maryland State Fireman’s Association, Bessie Marshall Fund.
