On Sunday, December 4, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Joan G. Irvine; father of Karen E. Hennigan (James), Robert J. Irvine (Tara), Joshua D. Irvine (Jennifer) and SFC Kenneth P. Irvine, USA (Eleanor); brother of Stephen Irvine and Russell Irvine. Also survived by seven grandchildren, extended loving family and cherished friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, Norbeck and Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 3 p.m. (Please assemble at the Administration Building by 2:30 p.m.) Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A.C.
