On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Joyce H. Irons; father of Joseph F. Irons and wife Candace, Catherine I. Hochberg and husband Jory, Gordon T. Irons and wife Tara, Carol I. Murray and husband Michael and Nancy J. Irons; brother of Robert L. Irons and Mary Clare Irons. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853 on Monday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, Parish Center Building Fund.
