Beloved husband of Melissa Hyland; father of Paul Hyland, Charlotte Hyland, Sara (David) Schnell and Thomas (Anne) Hyland; grandfather of Violet, Owen, Ruth, Fiona and Ryan; brother of Gerald Hyland. Relatives and friends may call at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Monday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Relief Services or American Heart Association .
