DOROTHY HELEN HURLOCK (Age 92)

On Monday, January 18, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Eugene V. Hurlock; sister of Lil Zarpas (Gus) of Alexandria, VA. Also survived by three nieces, Alice Bell of Raleigh, NC, Hazel McLeod of Locust Grove, VA and Sandra Brown of Raleigh, NC; two nephews, James Adams of Hampton, VA and Donald Apperson of Suffolk, VA; seven great-nieces; five great nephews and a devoted friend and helper, Ronald Bodmer of Laurel, MD and many close friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, January 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, 9727 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m with receiving of friends starting at 10 a.m. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, VA at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, or to the Montgomery Hospice Society.
