FRANK WARREN HOLMES (Age 72)

On Sunday, February 9, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband for 38 years of Jane Holmes; father of Warren Holmes (Bridget), Denise Holmes and Christina Roberson (Gary); brother of Gloria Shadduck, Shirley Sausnock, Philip Holmes (Phyllis) and Carolyn Webb; grandfather of Audrey Jane, Warren Oliver, Kimberly, John and Stephanie, and great grandfather of Nathaniel. Pre deceased by his mother Helen Norris Holmes Goddard (Frank /Jesse), and sisters Diane FitzGerald (Garry), and Patti Ann Holmes. Frank was adored by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Sunday, February 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment following service at the historic (circa 1734) Rockville Cemetery, 1350 Baltimore Road, Rockville, MD.
