On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, of Silver Spring, MD Katherine was called home to glory to join her father Loc Xuan Nguyen in heaven. She is the beloved wife of Jason Anthony Hinkson; mother of Jaiden Hinkson and Ava Hinkson; daughter of Thanh (adoptive father) and Hoa Cao;daughter-in-law of Irene Keller Hinkson and Tony Hinkson; sister of Christian Cao, Sandra Schopplein, Shayne Cao, and Stephanie Cline; aunt of Anthony, Nicholas, and Sophia. Relatives and friends may attend viewing at Collins Funeral Home (valet parking), 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD Friday, July 26, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Celebration of life (Funeral Service) will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
