On Thursday, September 15, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Virginia V. Hines; father of Edward C. Hines III, W. Joseph Hines (Deborah), Peter J. Hines (Miriam), James E. Hines (Cindy), Amy H. Whittington (William), Stephen V. Hines (Lisa), the late M. Christine Jaap, and the late Michael V. Hines. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Church, Norbeck and Muncaster Mill Rds., Rockville, MD on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment U. S. Naval Academy Columbarium at a later date. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Church.
