On Saturday, January 7, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Ann M. Henson; brother of Gerald (Genie) Henson, Buddy (Mary) Henson, Sharon (Mickey) Pitarra, and many loving extended relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his loving son, Donald and mother, Mabel Henson. Larry Henson served as a proud, dedicated member of the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC and retired as Sergeant after 23 1/2 years. Larry Henson enjoyed many seasons as a Washington Redskin fan and was happy that the Washington Nationals brought baseball back to DC. Memorial Service at Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, January 13, at 11 a.m. Interment private.
