Died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Buffalo, NY. Father of Alicia L. Hemphill; brother of Sonja Hodge and William Hemphill; grandfather of Amber and Ashlea Owen. Also survived by his former wife, Gwendolyn London and a host of other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, January 22 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment private.
