Devoted husband of Dorothy “Dot” Harper; beloved father of Ashley (Sean) Bergesen, Amy (Jeremy) Padbury and Michael Harper; loving grandpa of Andrew, Claire and Jackson; son of Eldride S. Harper; brother of Joseph “Jay” N. (Ann Marie) Harper, Jr. and Mary Ellen (Mike) Hart. A memorial service will be held at North Chevy Chase Christian Church, 8814 Kensington Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD 20815, on Tuesday, March 20 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at church. Interment private. Contributions may be made to North Chevy Chase Christian Church.
