On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Lottie G. Hader; father of L. Catherine (Rick Suddeth) Hader, Daniel G. Hader, Steve K. (Minh Nguyen) Hader, grandfather of Sara L. Hader and Kurt M. Hader; brother of Richard Hader; brother-in-law of Edith Victoria Hader Handy. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, he served in the US Army during WWII. After the war, he joined the American Chemical Society where he worked in various roles prior to his retirement as Secretary in 1988. Memorial Service at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Colesville Road (at Highland Dr.), Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, and if desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, Mission Endowment Fund.
