On Thursday, August 23, 2018 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Diane Groves; father of Donald (Veronica) Groves, Jr., Richard (Marcia) Groves, Randy (Alecia) Groves, Julie (Rico) Boswell, and Michael (Helene) Groves; father-in-law of Diana Fox; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and his companion Rita Curtin.

Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Monday, August 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
