Charles Wesley Grant (Age 64)

On Saturday, October 12, 2019, Charles Wesley Grant of Rockville, MD was called home by the Lord. Charles was the beloved husband of Shirley; loving father of Sana, Simone, Shara, Chad, and Carey; future father-in-law of Don; loving brother of Maria and Glenford; brother-in-law of Lionel; uncle of Kidane, Joelle, Kebreab, Haria, Kasimu, Khary and Caya; Cousin of Hyacinth and Janice. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Charles had several passions including playing the bass guitar, doing detailed yard work, building kites, carpentry, and home improvement projects. His intense and consistent love and sacrifice for his family will never be forgotten. Charles will be greatly missed, but ever-present in spirit, and in our hearts and minds.

You may join us for a viewing at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901 (Valet Parking) on Friday, October 25, from 3 to 5 pm or  7 to 9 pm.

Service will be at Norbeck Memorial Park Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd. (off Georgia Ave.), Olney, MD, 20832 on Saturday October 26. Saturday’s viewing will be from 12:30 – 1 pm and Celebration of Life service will begin at 1 pm.  Interment at Norbeck Memorial Park Cemetery. (Memorial contributions should be made to Go Fund Me
