PATRICIA LOUISE GRADY (nee Tompkins)

On Friday, September 11, 2009 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late John J. Grady, Jr.; mother of Cheryl Hiller, Kevin Grady, Janice Secord and John Grady, III; dear grandmother of Anthony Hiller, Kelly Schipper, Kevin Secord, Leah Grady and Kristin Grady; cherished great-grandmother of Taylor Schipper. Mrs. Grady graduated from Wilson Teachers” College in 1941. She taught kindergarten for several years in northern Virginia. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and a Dame of Malta. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, Tuesday, September 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Drive., Silver Spring, MD 20850.
