GEORGETTE S. GLEASON (Age 93)

The first First Lady of Montgomery County passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late James P. Gleason, Sr.; mother of Penny Gleason, James P. Gleason, Jr. (Liz), Mary G. Rappaport, Catherine M. Powers, Thomas F. Gleason and the late Patricia A. Gleason. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, October 6, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette’s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
