JAMES ROBERT GILES, SR. (Age 78)

On Friday, February 14, 2014, of Penn National, PA formerly of Calverton, MD. Beloved husband of Catherine Barnette Giles; father of Laura Lynne (Raymond) Bunner, James “Jamey” Robert (Joyce) Giles, Jr., Susan Claire Evans and Virginia “Ginger” Catherine (Scott) Harwerth. Grandfather of Raym, Jacqueline, Nathan, Michael, Trevor, Jessica, Julianne, Melissa, Ryan, Derek, Amanda, Cole, Jason and Jennifer. Brother of Jane Clover of California and Henry Wilson “Bill” Giles, Jr. of North Carolina. Also survived by five nephews and two nieces. A memorial service will be celebrated at Cedar Ridge Community Church, 2410 Spencerville Road, Spencerville, MD 20868 on Sunday February 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, 100 North Charles Street, #234, Baltimore, MD 21201.
