On Wednesday, January 6, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Harriett Gallagher; loving father of Michael (Susan) of Vienna VA, Sharon Gallagher, Maureen Gallagher, Peggy DeLauder (Journey) and Tara Pinkler (David) of Ellicott City, MD. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Native of Ashland, PA, Bill was a graduate of George Washington University, served in Army Counter Intelligence during the Korean War and was an investigator with Office of Naval Intelligence before becoming an FBI agent. He retired in 1980. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, January 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, January 19, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
