ROY FRITTS, JR.

On Wednesday, February 18, 2015, of Hagerstown, MD. Born February 2, 1923 in Lexington, NC, to the late Roy Fritts, Sr. and Rosa Potts Fritts. Husband of the late Eleanora B. (Polito) Fritts; father of Barbara F. Allem (Johnny W.), Roy A. Fritts (Paula Moats), Ron E. Fritts and Roy’s virtual daughter, Karen Pedone; brother of Maxine Fritts Toense (Earle) and the late Virginia Fritts Lovelace and Vivian Fritts Ardai. Also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Roy moved to Washington, DC from Greenville, SC in the early 1940’s and lived in the DC area until he retired to Berkeley Springs, WV and then to Hagerstown, MD. A private interment at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium will take place at a later date.
