ELEANORA B. FRITTS (nee Polito)

On Monday, May 17, 2010, of Washington, DC. Daughter of the late Frank and Alice Polito; wife of Roy Fritts Jr.; mother of Barbara F. Allem (Johnny W.), Roy A. Fritts (Paula Moats), Ron E. Fritts(Carol Penn), and her virtual daughter, Karen Pedone; sister of Dorothy Caldwell, Rebecca McMurray, and the late Anthony Polito, Frances Nevan, and Thomas Polito. Also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at THE WASHINGTON HOME (Garden Room), 3720 Upton St., NW, Washington, DC 20016 on Saturday, June 5, from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m., onsite and street parking available. Private interment at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer”s Association of National Capital Area, 3701 Pender Dr., Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.
