On Thursday, January 18, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD.  Beloved wife of the late Frank Friberg; mother of Robert Friberg and Carol Wilson; sister of Gordon, Bill, Tom and Barbara.  Joan was a long-time member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Bethesda, MD.  Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Wednesday, January 24, from 10 to 11 a.m, where a Funeral Service will be held at  11 a.m.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
